Learn Unity physics by building a playful Rube Goldberg machine, no coding required. Across short, hands-on lessons you’ll plan a chain reaction, block out scenes with primitives, add Rigidbody, Hinge and Spring Joints, and troubleshoot common issues like axes, gravity, jitter and edge rails. Finish with a working sequence and a short demo clip for your portfolio. Ideal for beginners or designers wanting a physics refresher.
Mine Site Safety Essentials is an interactive online induction designed to introduce learners to key health and safety requirements when working on a mine site. The course focuses on practical awareness, safe decision-making, and understanding individual responsibilities before entering operational areas.
Learners will explore common mine site environments, identify hazards, and apply safe work principles through short scenarios, interactive activities, and visual examples. Topics include site access and zones, personal protective equipment (PPE), traffic and mobile plant awareness, high-risk work indicators, hazard identification, emergency response, and safety reporting.
On completion, learners will have a clear understanding of expected safety behaviours on site, when to stop work, and how to respond to hazards or emergencies in line with standard mine site practices.
Introduction to Instructional Design (ID101) introduces the core principles of designing effective learning experiences. You'll explore what instructional design is, why it matters, and how structured design models help learners achieve meaningful outcomes.
Through practical examples and interactive activities, you'll learn how to analyse learning needs, define clear objectives, apply learning theories, and build engaging training that meets real-world business and learner requirements.
By the end of this course, you'll have a solid understanding of the instructional design process and the confidence to begin creating your own learner-centred experiences.
